When word of the extraordinary success of Richard Harrington’s exhibition 

reached people in Japan and the External Affairs Officials who were in charge

of the program for the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, I received numerous phone

calls (usually at 2 or 3 am!) inviting me to present the popular exhibition in Tokyo.
